ANNAPURNA REGION

Annapurna Region is a heavenly trekking destination for travelers, popular for having Nepal wonderful mountains like Hinchuli, Machhapurchhare, and Annapurna. Situated at the mid-north of Nepal, with Kali Gandaki, the deepest gorge of the world on the left, the Marsyangi and Dudh Khola valleys to the east, the valley of lakes, Pokhara on the south, and well-beaten trails that run along the Himalayas meeting the Nepal -Tibet border.

Annapurna Region, attracting 1/3 of the trekkers of Nepal, is a widely commercialized trekking destination full of natural beauty and cultural heritage and is also relatively safer than other regions of Nepal. With nine peaks over 7000m and the majestic Annapurna I with an altitude of 8091m facing the Pokhara Valley, trekkers are surrounded with a sensation of the once-in-a-lifetime moment. With famous destinations like the Mustang, a forbidden kingdom of Nepal, Tilicho Lake, the highest lake in the world at an altitude of 4,919m, and short trekking destinations like Poon Hill (located at 3193m), famous for watching the sunrise/sunset. Spreading around Kaski, Mustang, Manang, and Lamjung, Annapurna Region includes spectacular forests full of rhododendron flowers and bamboo forests covering a wide area of the region.
